But you do.

Join us as we welcome Jason Bielagus, Esq. and Donald Sienkiewicz, Esq. who will be breaking down what may seem overwhelming into the basics of estate planning for families, and for any age or family configuration. When Your Kids Push Your Buttons
Oct 5 @ 9:30 am – 11:30 am
This program is FULL. If you’d like to be added to the waitlist, contact us by email or by phone (603) 924-6800.

You know what it’s like: Your child says or does that thing and you see red. You yell at your kids and later hate yourself for it. You nag over and over and nothing changes. That one kid especially just gets to you. Then – Chances are you are getting your buttons pushed.

In this class you will discover:
• What your buttons are
• Where they come from (hint: it’s not your kids)
• Why your children push them
• What you can do to control them, regain your authority, your sanity, and even your children’s cooperation and respect.

Based on Bonnie Harris’s acclaimed book, When Your Kids Push Your Buttons: And What You Can Do About It. This will be Bonnie’s last time teaching this course with The River Center. Don’t miss it!

Your Pregnancy
Oct 5 @ 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

Come and join the conversation as we discuss pregnancy and all that comes with it! Each week we will focus on a topic and dive in to learn more. We will work to answer questions and help you feel comfortable and confident as you approach delivery day.

This group is suitable for both first time and repeat parents. We welcome all family make ups:  adoptive parents, surrogates, single parents, same sex couples and heterosexual couples. Learn about the birthing process, post-natal care, expectation, family and balancing it all.

We will meet every other Tuesday starting on September 21 at 6 pm – 7:30 pm.

Email the group facilitator for more info.

Fostering confidence & competence

“My child, who is autistic, and I were often made to feel uncomfortable in public places. He sometimes has behavioral issues that make it hard for him to be accepted in play groups. I was feeling isolated and discouraged. The River Center’s Children’s Enrichment program changed all that. They welcomed my son with open arms! For the first time, I felt hope – as a parent and for my child.”
